Planning and implementation are the
central functions of the Pocono Northeast Resource Conservation &
Development Council. The Area Plan serves as a strategic plan for the
Council area covering a five year period. An Area Plan considers what
actions will be taken by the Council to develop and carry out an effective
plan, including goals, purposes, policies, and implementation activities,
evaluation and reviews, and the opportunity for public participation in
these actions during the coming five year period.
The Pocono Northeast RC&D Council is in the process of
formulating its Area Plan or Strategic Plan, which will serve as the
Council's guiding document for the next five years (2009 - 2014). The
Council is seeking your input to identify a diverse listing of resource
needs and opportunities within the Council Area. So please fill out
the survey listed below and provide any input, thoughts, suggestions, or
comments that you might have on the resource needs and opportunities, in
writing or email.
